Ernestine (Wilson) Holmes, age 78, of East Liberty. passed away Thursday evening, August 24, 2017 with her family at her side.  Beloved spouse of William J. Holmes; Mother of Charlette L., Ernest, Leonard (Tina), Mark Hall, Louella Hall-Carter, Warren Holmes and the late David and Tommie Hall; Sister of David Wilson and the late Elijah (Ester) Richardson, Marie (Albert) Small and Anna (Mitchell) Ottison; Daughter of the late Ernest and Eva Wilson; 26 Grand, 39 Great-Grand and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.  

Friends received 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30 2017 in the Elmer L. Herman Funeral Home, 5204 Second Ave., Hazelwood.  Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday in Morningstar Baptist Church 5524 Second Ave Hazelwood.
