Gayle Ann (Alderson) Martin

Gayle Ann Martin, age 59, lifetime resident of Hazelwood, died suddenly on November 28, 2018.
Beloved wife of Michael; devoted mother and best friend of JoAnna Lee and Sean (Emma); proud Nini of
Kaitlin. Proceeded in death by parents, James and Marlene Rodgers. Daughter-in-law of Henry (Skip) and
the late Mary Martin. Sister of Sherry (Joe) Adragna and Karen (Bob) White. Sister-in-law of Norman
(Margie) and Douglas (Lisa) Martin. Gigi was a proud aunt to many nephews, nieces, great nephews and
great nieces. She touched the life of everyone she knew and will always be remembered for her love for
all children, especially her great nephew Ethan.  Friends received on Sunday from 2-8 PM in the Elmer L Herman Funeral Home, 5204 Second Ave. Hazelwood.  Services on Monday at 11 AM  in the Funeral Home with the Rev Huett Flemming officiating,  Gayle and Mike enjoyed the time they spent together
traveling to various local and Virginia wineries. Gayle had a fierce love for her family, friends, and her
dogs, Copper, Tucker and Pepper. She worked for 36 years for Aramark at the Civic and PPG Arenas. In
lieu of flowers the family request a donation be made to the Autism Society of Pittsburgh, 4371 Northern
Pike, Monroeville, PA 15146.
