Carolyn Clare (Smith) Matta, age 82, of McKeesport, on Tuesday November 7, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late William P. Matta, Sr.  Devoted mother of William (Patricia) Matta, Jr., Gregory (Laura) Matta, Lisa (John) Yost, Jeffrey (Marie) Matta, Christopher Matta and Craig (Julie) Matta.  Grandmother of Lauren (Joseph), Ashley, Steven, Grace (Rob), Alex, Mark, John (Samantha), Nathaniel, Jacob, Nicholas, Natalie, Daniel, Tiffany, Samantha, and Great Grandmother of Santino, Alivia, Jackson and Lilly.  Nieces and nephews.  Daughter of the late John Joseph & Frances (Madejeski) Smith.  Sister of the late Jay Alan Smith and Mildred Mierzyeski.

Working as a RN at UPMC-McKeesport from 1960-1997 and Lector, Eucharistic Minister and member of Corpus Christi Parish.

Friends will be received on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Corpus Christi Parish, Versailles Ave., McKeesport with The Rev. Steven M. Palsa, officiating.  Entombment in Calvary Cemetery of Port Vue Mausoleum.
