Darrell E. Holmes, age 63, of Knoxville passed on Tuesday, September 1, 2020

Darrell E. Holmes, preceded in death by his father the late Carl E. Holmes.  Son to Naomi Holmes.  Beloved brother to Donna D. Starling, Leslee D. Bowie; father of Paris Coleman, Grandfather to D’Avree Coleman, Egypt Coleman, Milahn Coleman.  Loving uncle to Tarae Washington, Tarren Starling, Brandon Bowie, Brandi Bowie; great uncle to Mirayah King, Meleke King, Tairyn Starling, Autumn Irish.. Great great uncle to Messiah Nicholas.

Darrell was always the life of the party.  Always ready to lend a helping hand.   A babysitter and story teller to all of his nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.  Whenever or whatever you needed he was always ready to help.  Darrell’s easygoing personality made him liked and loved by all.  “You have paid your wage” (Romans 6:23).   Rest in Peace.
