Derrick was loved by so many, as he was known for his handsome smile with his two deep dimples, and his laughter. He had a heart of gold and would give his very last to a complete stranger. He was a Man who lived and breathed for his family. He was the epitome of a true protector. He was a great ear but could also provide such sound wisdom rooted in his deep love for learning about all things. Derrick was truly the heart of the family and wherever he went, anybody would follow. He united those around him. He was a giant, and because of that he filled everyone's heart to the very brim. He will eternally be missed by all.
