John A. Magyar, age 88, of Whitehall, formerly of Hazelwood, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 19, 2020 with his family at his side.
US Army Veteran and retired employee of USS;
Husband of the late Rita (Bayne) Magyar; Son of the late Julius and Elizabeth (Chontos) Magyar;
Brother of Theresa Tomkins and Anna Marie Kish; Nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Friends received on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 2-6 PM in the New Elmer L Herman Funeral Home located at 828 Richford St at Commonwealth Ave. Duquesne, PA 15110. Near Kennywood Park and West Mifflin High School.
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pau'sl Cathedral–St. Stephen's Parish at 11 AM on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

Full military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
