Michael Bernard "Moon" Williams, age 53, of Carrick, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
Beloved son of Michael Williams and Jacqueline "Jackie" Rae (Kania) Williams;
devoted brother of Clint Curtis (Jessica) Williams;
nephew of Carolyn (Wayne), Debbie (Dan), Shorty (The late Gloria), Sis, Carol, Susie (Jinx), Smuck;
many cousins; a few close friends and canine companion Axl Rose.
What I have to share isn’t easy.
It has taken all day to find the words and still they are beyond my mind.
All I can see in My mind is the handsome face of the son I’ll never see again.
Last night as the machines ceased Mike’s breaths became increasingly shallow.
And with my palm on his chest they also ceased just as his lips moved and
I know he blew a final kiss to his mom. He fought so many battles.
Cancer was maybe the biggest.
But depression was the one that caused the most suffering over time.
If you know someone suffering from mental illness.
Please be sure to give them the support they need in their fight.
It’s a lifelong battle. And I’m so glad I had Clint to get me through last night.
It was a hard thing to do.
Clint held me up. And now the youngest becomes the oldest.
