Sherdina Harrison-Reed Obituary

Sunrise June 20, 1948

Sunset September 16, 2025

Sherdina Harrison Reed

Sherdina was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, along with her siblings Ralph, Frank, Robert, Donna, and Sandy, in the Homewood Area on Frankstown Ave.

She spent over 20 years in the Los Angeles, California, where she married 1st husband, Jerome Harrison. She was employed at Bell Atlantic for 18 years.

When her mother became ill, she relocated back to Pittsburgh, where she reunited with her long-time best friend and current husband, Kevin Reed.

During that time, she was employed at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Allegheny County Court, where she retired.

She enjoyed cooking and watching old western movies. Most of all, she enjoyed the sound of the slot machine and playing the Pennsylvania Lottery, because she was extremely gifted with both.

Sherdina was called home on September 16, 2025, leaving to mourn;

Her husband, Kevin Reed

Step-son, Shanti Floyd

Sister, Donna Moore

Brother-in-laws, Anthony Reed and Larry Reed

Nieces, Juanita Langham, Annette Reed and Angela Reed

Great Nieces and Nephews, Keenan Brooks, Kayauda Brooks, Kadar Rash, Shawnyce Moore Myrie, Thaisia Moore (Tee-Tee), Alisha Myrie, Jordan Myrie, Ya’Sime Myrie (R.I.P.), Tesheona Moore, Shantya Moore, Ravil Moore, Tresyer Moore, Trinity Moore, Tony Moore II, Karen Moore Russell, and Jordyn Russell.

Sherdina, without a doubt, has impacted the lives of many friends and family, too numerous to name.
