Jeffrey was my cousin. He was a good guy who I had tried to get to know more in the later years before he passed. He and his sister Susan were always warm and friendly to our family and both achieved great success. My recently departed mother, brother, and sister all thought very highly of Jeffrey and offer our deepest condolences to Jeffrey's father, Walt, and to Susan and her family.

Fly high now, Jeffrey, freed from the spurs and stings that drove you without rest. Your glorious turbulence -- you took a train to Revere once, to walk on the beach . . . in February -- your grasp of issues [each day's newspaper tells me of problems to be solved or at least managed, so apt for your hand and mind]; your magnificent sweep in the Viennese waltz. No one else was, is, or could be remotely like you. I miss you sorely.

A classmate of towering accomplishments, he will be missed. I was always in awe of his commanding knowledge of politics. My thoughts are with Jeff's family at this time of great sadness.

My thoughts are with Jeffrey's family and friends. He was not only a brilliant man but also hysterically funny, had a wonderful laugh and couldn't be beaten in Trivial Pursuit. I remember my times with Jeffrey fondly and will never forget him.

I knew Jeffrey during his sober times in recent years. We occasionally shared coffee and conversations in the mornings. I found him to be a pleasant man and was often glued to his conversations; he was a very smart man. My condolences on your loss.
